OWNER / OUTFITTER / GUIDE

Greg is a 3rd generation logger raised in the Appalachian Mountains of West Virginia. Greg has owned his own logging and trucking business since 1989. He is the owner and founder of Mountaineer Outfitters. He is a first generation outfitter who's fondest childhood memories involve learning to hunt & fish with his grandpa.
Greg made his first trip out to Colorado on an elk hunt with some of his buddies in the fall of 1998. They say for those of us raised on the East Coast, once you go West a piece of you never really comes back. He went back year after year, helped many of his friends harvest elk and dreamed of someday owning an outfitter business.
Greg’s favorite thing to do is bow hunt. He’s killed caribou, turkey, bear, coyotes, elk, wild boar and even his grandpa’s rooster as a kid with a bow. He loves to hunt elk during bugling season when he can call them in. He spends his summers logging, farming, and conditioning his hounds for lion season on bear and raccoon.
Greg has been teaching his daughter Cassie to hunt and fish since before she can remember. When she was 8 months old he wrapped her in a blanket, went out into the snow & cold to kill a deer. He was successful that day with a deer and not even a whimper from Cassie! He is very passionate about the outdoors and enjoys teaching and sharing what he knows with others.

Fortunate enough to grow up under her father’s wing in the Appalachian Mountains of West Virginia, she grew up hunting and fishing with her dad from as far back as she can remember. More than most she love hunting and training her 8 bear dogs year round in the mountains of WV. In September she packs up her life and heads West for 3 months to chase elk and deer in the Rocky Mountains. She loves archery hunting anything. She's harvested elk, deer, turkey and even a pesky ground hound with her bow.
After several career changes she's finally settled on the title of Realtor, Outfitter & Guide.

Third generation owner of Ralphs Furniture, a family owned business in Buckhannon WV.
I spent my childhood spending every minute in the woods or on a boat with my grandfather Ralph. From summer trips in Canada fishing, squirrel hunting, raccoon hunting and bear hunting with hounds has always been a passion. At a young age I dreamed of guiding out west and helping others secure their dreams. Mountaineer Outfitters has helped me solidify that dream and made it come true. I spend my spare time in the outdoors hunting and fishing with my son and daughter every chance I get chasing Muskies, coyotes, whitetails and turkeys.
